Capitán Avispa, the animated film by the legendary Juan Luis Guerra, premiered in cinemas in Santo Domingo on 5 April 2024, and El Nuevo Diario reports that demand has been so high additional screens have had to be added. The music is by Juan Luis Guerra, who recruited fellow Latin American stars Luis Fonsi and Juanes to provide voices.
