Ben Stiller

Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller was born on 30 November 1965. Stiller is a famous American actor, filmmaker, and comedian. 

Ben Stiller is an easily recognizable name in the world of film, having starred in familiar favorites such as Along came Polly, Zoolander, which the actor also directed, DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story, Anchorman, Night at the Museum ( which earned $115 million in the first 10 days) Meet the Fockers (which grossed over $500 million worldwide) as well as The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, which he was also producer and director for. Stiller has also directed films such as The Cable Guy in which he starred alongside comedy heavyweight Jim Carrey, and Mission: Improbable, a parody of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Stiller has also voice acted in Megamind as well as Madagascar and its two sequels, which were all worldwide hits, and has made guest appearances on shows such as Curb your Enthusiasm, Saturday Night Live, and even WWE. He also had his own television show called The Ben Stiller Show. 

Stiller attended the Calhoun School in New York and graduated in 1983, going on to study film at the University of California in Los Angeles. He later returned to New York to continue acting classes at the Actors Studio. 

Ben Stiller could be considered one of the founding members of what is known to the media as The Frat Pack. This group consists of a variety of big-name comedy actors who have appeared in films together, these names include Will Ferrel, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Vince Vaughn, Steve Carrell, and others who are known for their comedy roles. There are a total of 35 films considered to be Frat Pack films, and Stiller has starred in 20 of them. 

Over the span of his acting career, Stiller’s films have grossed over $2.6 billion in Canada and the United States alone. He has been married to actress Christine Taylor since 2000 barring a short separation before the covid pandemic, the couple reconciled during the lockdown. They share two children. 

He appeared on the celebrity game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire? And walked away with $32,000 for charity after getting the $250,000 question wrong. Ben is a vegetarian. After his actions during Russia’s invasion attempts in 2022, Stiller considers Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to be his "hero." He visited the president in June of that same year in an effort to raise awareness for Ukrainian and Polish refugees. 

Both Ben Stiller’s parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, are comedians and actors. In Highschool he was the drummer for a punk rock band called Capital Punishment which actually released an album in 1982. 

Stiller set the Guinness World Record for the longest selfie stick which was 8.56 meters. This was for the premiere of Zoolander 2. He was diagnosed with and beat Prostate cancer in the same year (2014). 

His first breakthrough movie appearance was in The Cable Guy in 1996 which he also directed, and his most recent roles are in Locked Down and the music video short NYCNext: New York State of Mind, when it comes to producing and directing he is rumored to have confirmed his role as producer in Dodgeball 2.
