Tim Burton

The future director started making his first short films when he was a teenager. He worked on them in the garden and used 8-millimeter film. However, most of his early projects are lost. Tim Burton's parents were quite odd, which affected his relationship with them. One day they removed the window in his bedroom, leaving only a small slit. The director assumes that his parents did this so he wouldn't run away. But in the end the boy decided to live with his grandmother, and from the age of 16 he began an independent life. Tim was a teenager at the time when he sketched a future character for 'Edward Scissorhands'. For a while, Burton worked in Disney's animation department. He was fired several times and then hired again. The main complaint of the management was that the projects he created were too dark and frightening. Burton is afraid of monkeys. He put his fears into the screenplay when he started working on 'Planet of the Apes'. The director helped then-President Barack Obama throw a Halloween party at the White House.
