Demi Moore, a 90’s heartthrob, started out as a pin-up model after dropping out of high school. She was initially given the name Demetria Guynes and was born on November 11th, 1962, in the city of Roswell, New Mexico. Her biological father had already left the family by the time she was born, so she had a bumpy childhood. 

She went to Fairfax High School in California. Later, she dropped out of high school in her sophomore year and worked as a pin-up model and debt collector. She also took acting classes. Her family was dysfunctional, and she craved financial independence, so she ended up on the cover of an adult magazine. 

She had a variety of odd jobs before making her big screen debut in the film Choices. However, it was her role in the film St. Elmo's Fire that brought her widespread fame. 

After the success of her film Ghost, she became one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, with a net worth of over $150 million. 

Her next big hit was Levinson's 1994 thriller Disclosure, which despite receiving mixed reviews was a success at the box office. After that, she starred in Andrew Bergman's 1996 film Striptease, where she enacted stripper Erin Grant. Her role received rave reviews from critics, and the film over the years has managed to acquire the coveted status of a cult flick. 

She played Claire Donnelly in the 1996 HBO film If These Walls Could Talk, which was considered a successful TV film. In G.I. Jane, she played Lieutenant Jordan O'Neil, and became the first woman to train at the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Group. She appeared in Deconstructing Harry that same year. Joseph McGinty directed her Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle in 2003, which was again a box-office hit. 

Bruce A. Evans directed Mr. Brooks in 2007. The film was popular and turned out to be a cult. Derrick Borte directed The Joneses in 2009. The film debuted at TIFF in 2009. She appeared in Another Happy Day in 2011. Sam Levinson's film got mixed reviews, but her performance was praised. Lisa Azuelos directed the 2012 coming-of-age comedy-drama-romance LOL, in which she played divorcee Anne Williams. 

In 2019, she revealed that she was raped at 15 by her landlord, who was 49 at that time. 

Demi Moore is still working actively as an actor and was recently seen in the movie Please Baby Please. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for If These Walls Could Talk.

Demi Moore was born cross-eyed and underwent surgery to fix the problem. She also had kidney problems. Her marriage to Freddy Moore ended in 1985. After that, she married Bruce Willis in 1987 and had three daughters. In 2000, they divorced. In 2005, she married actor Ashton Kutcher, but that marriage too ended in divorce in 2011.
