Tarantino decided to drop out of school at the age of 15, and got a job as an usher in a movie theater. The director never returned to his attempts to get a higher education. Quentin always said that he planned to make only 10 films and then retire. But he was never known for consistency. The director demanded to remove his name from the 'Natural Born Killers' credits. He wrote the script and wanted to shoot it himself, but eventually another director helmed the project, changing the original idea quite considerably. One day Tarantino's house was attacked by burglars. Tarantino fought them off, and they escaped as a result, but still managed to get some valuables. The director loves to collect things, music records first of all. He uses them when working on a new project.
