Finn Wolfhard

If you’re a fan of Stranger Things and It, then you’re most likely a fan of Finn Wolfhard. Wolfhard, a Canadian actor and musician, gained recognition for his role in the Netflix series Stranger Things. Although he joins a nerdy cast of kids, he reportedly earned $250,000 per episode in Season 3 of Stranger Things and an estimated net worth of $3 million. He is also known as Richie Tozier in Stephen King’s clown horror It (2017) and its sequel It: Chapter two (2019). However, there is more to Finn than just that; he was born in Vancouver, Canada, and was inspired to pursue acting after watching Spider-Man (2002). 

He made his debut in the science fiction-themed short Aftermath (2013) and made several guest appearances in The 100 (The CW, 2014) and Supernatural. But the young Canadian actor moved quickly from guest roles to juvenile leads in major films and tv shows, including IT and Stranger Things. 

He has also starred in the drama film The Goldfinch (2019) as Boris Pavlikovsky and as Trevor in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021). He’s also the voice of Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family (2019). 

He got his first job on Craigslist, instantly fell in love with being on set, and hasn’t looked back since. Finn always wanted to be a filmmaker, and according to him, “Acting was the best way to get into the film industry, so I started acting when I was nine, and I loved it, and I’ve never looked back.”  

Besides his acting skills, he's also a great musician and was the leading face of a rock band called Calpurnia. He co-directed a music video in 2017 with Josh Ovalle; it was his first music video for the band Spendtime Palace’s song. The young actor has made a name for himself outside of Stranger Things. Instead of being typecast or finding success in just one role, he has taken talent behind the scenes. Wolfhard has made his directorial debut with a horror-comedy film Hell of a Summer, and fans are excited to see him flourish in the industry. 

The list of his talents doesn’t end here; not only does he excel in acting and music, but he is also a model. He was the face of Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter ’19 campaign, which David Sims shot. The black and white images of Wolfhard with a leather jacket, a skinny tie, shades, and hair thoroughly poofed won the hearts of all his fans.
