Masha Anpilova agrees to become a surrogate mother for businessman Bogdanov and his wife in order to save her common-law husband. At the last stage of pregnancy, Masha realizes that she will not be able to give the child away and informs them of her decision. Immediately after this, a terrible thing happens - the Bogdanovs die tragically in an accident.
