Marina Leonidova lives with her daughters and mother in a private house in the small town of Yuryatin. Local businessman Kovrov plans to build a shopping center on the site of her house. Kovrov invites Marina and her family to move to a city apartment, but she refuses and intends to fight for her home to the end.
