In her youth, Anna Potapova experienced an unhappy love - Pavel cheated on her, and soon she found out that she was pregnant. Wanting to forget him and afraid to be left without support, Anya married someone else. Marriage did not make her happier, although she honestly tried to love Andrey and even gave up her dream of becoming a doctor in favor of her daughter and husband. Suddenly Andrey had a heart attack, and he ended up on the operating table with the best cardiologist in the city, who turned out to be the same Pavel. He refused to be Andrey's attending physician because he could not forget the pain that Anna caused him by choosing a richer groom. At first, the meetings between Anna and Pavel are full of grievances and mutual claims, but gradually feelings, seemingly long extinguished, flared up with renewed vigor. And now she has to make a choice: love or the happiness of loved ones.
