"The Righteous Gemstones" is an American black comedy TV show produced by HBO. The plot revolves around the Gemstone family, who travel the world spreading the "word of God" to everyone they meet. They gather a following and try to gain their trust. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the Gemstones are not as righteous as they appear. They actively indulge in the material benefits that their "work" brings them.
