The Russian TV thriller "Spoiler" revolves around a political figure who is determined to win the upcoming election race and remain in office as governor. To assist him, he hires a spoiler whose mission is to run as a candidate and siphon votes away from the protagonist's main opponent. However, it is crucial that the spoiler does not actually win. Local entrepreneur Andrey Obolensky takes on the role of the puppet master.
