The Russian series "On the Ice" is a sports drama about figure skating. In the past, a famous figure skater returns to her childhood provincial town and takes a job as a coach at a sports school where she took her first steps on the ice. Over time, the true reasons for her return become clear to the audience. The drama "On the Ice" explores eternal questions: are we always right when we wish for the best for our children? Are we capable of taking responsibility for a child's well-being if we ourselves are unhappy?
