The Russian documentary series "Seventy-Two" will be dedicated to the globally renowned confrontation between the Soviet and Canadian hockey teams. In 1972, the best hockey players from the Soviet Union and Canada faced off in an eight-game Super Series. Half of the games took place in Canada, while the rest were held in the USSR. True professionals took to the ice. It was not an Olympics event, where multiple countries participate, but a showdown between only two nations, rightfully recognized as champions in this sport.
