The story revolves around Trey, who is released from prison after serving a 15-year sentence. He returns to his native neighborhood in Brooklyn and is shocked by what he sees: the place has been gentrified, and his former lover has married another man and is raising his children, whom Trey didn't even know existed. Determined to have nothing but a relationship with his twin sons and with no means to support himself, the protagonist decides to rely on the skills he acquired behind bars. He becomes "The Last O.G."
