"Anka from Moldavanka. 5 Years Later" is a continuation of the story about a woman named Anka. The events take place in the early 80s. Anka lives in Rostov with her husband, Nikolai Vasilyev, who is a police officer. They often argue, and after another scandal, Anka decides to go back to her hometown in Odessa. At the same time, Nikolai learns that Anka's former lover, a robber named Arkady Sotnikov, has escaped from prison. Vasilyev also leaves Rostov and starts working in the Odessa Criminal Investigation Department. He wants to save his marriage and protect his wife from danger.
