The Russian drama series "Ballet" tells the story of renowned dancer Ruta Meyers, who returns to the stage after a 30-year hiatus. Once a star of the Bolshoi Theatre, Ruta went on to teach choreography and gained worldwide recognition as an educator. Despite the passing of many years, Ruta still feels a deep connection to the place. Andrei Pronin, with whom she once had a romantic relationship, now leads the theater. He has married Ruta's former best friend.
