"The Patient" is an American mini-series that tells the story of Alexander Strauss, a psychotherapist, in a 10-episode psychological thriller. Recently widowed, Alexander seeks solace in his work. Soon, he finds himself held captive by a serial killer who seeks him out as a specialist. The criminal wants the doctor's help in overcoming his desire to kill people. Alexander delves into the protagonist's mind, ultimately helping him come to terms with his own loss.
