The multi-part family drama "Puppy Place" tells the story of Charlie and Lizzie Peterson, schoolchildren who turn out to be big animal lovers. They have set up a home shelter for dogs in need of finding owners. The kids feed the dogs, take care of them, and train them. The young dog trainers are confident that a Pomeranian named Teddy, for example, will make an excellent guide dog. However, some of the four-legged pets require medical assistance, and in these cases, the help of adults is indispensable.
