The TV series "Criminal Doctor" is a Russian drama about the fate of neurosurgeon Smirnov, who puts his life on the line for justice. One day, Smirnov performs a risky operation and saves the life of a customs officer. However, despite the danger passing, the patient dies during the night. The doctor tries to understand what really happened and uncovers a terrible secret. Now he is drawn into criminal games and forced to join a gang.
