The American multi-series western "Billy the Kid" tells the story of a unique criminal named Billy the Kid. William Henry McCarty was born and raised in Ireland. He arrived on the American frontier and later played a key role in the Lincoln County War in 1878. Billy the Kid spent his entire life outside the law, but he did not choose this path and committed crimes without personal gain in mind. The life of this charming cowboy and immigrant coincided with the period of creating a new America.
