The Russian melodramatic mini-series "In Your Reflection" tells the story of twin sisters Maria and Zoe. Masha is a quiet and shy girl, while Zoya is vibrant and confident. Both have feelings for their neighbor Dmitry, but he chooses Zoya. The young couple goes to the registry office to file their marriage application but gets into a car accident. Zoya dies, and their devastated mother convinces her remaining daughter to take advantage of their physical resemblance and go to the city. Masha goes to university in place of her sister.
