The Battalion (2019 - 2019)

The action of the Russian military drama mini-series "Battalion" takes place in the late 90s. Yugoslavia is on the verge of collapse, and the residents of Albania are planning to rid their territories of the Serbian population. Pristina Airport is a strategically important target. In order to prevent the arming of Kosovar militants and the capture of the airport, a special forces unit is sent there. The situation is further complicated by the fact that air transportation is impossible, and it takes about ten hours to reach the battalion on foot.
