"Smersh. The New" is a continuation of the Russian spy series set during World War II. Soviet intelligence officer Pavel Semenov once again finds himself face to face with cunning and treacherous Nazi saboteurs. But this time, he is aided by a new partner - the highly talented polyglot and son of a diplomat, Konstantin Lavrov. With Lavrov's skills, combined with Semenov's experience and bravery, the Soviet intelligence agencies are able to thwart the Germans' plans and prevent a global catastrophe.
