"The Secret of the Sleeping Lady" is a detective series based on the novel by Tatiana Korsakova. The story revolves around Aglaya Vetrova, a designer and restorer. A well-known businessman purchases an old house and invites Aglaya to do an unusual job - restoring a huge mechanical doll found in the attic. The life-sized automaton used to be able to move and even write with ink on paper. However, there are terrifying legends surrounding the doll: the locals believe that every time it "comes to life," someone must die.
