The Russian melodramatic series "Marusya" tells the story of a provincial girl named Marusya. The heroine lives in a rural area with her son, works as a gardener, and is content with her life. However, a chance encounter with a Moscow musician named Innokenty suddenly changes her life. The violinist falls in love with the modest girl, proposes to her, and takes her and her child to Moscow. In the Russian capital, Marusya's life takes a completely different turn.
