Novyy muzh (2018 - 2018)

The comedy-drama series "The New Husband" revolves around a simple village woman named Toma Volina. She moved to Moscow, married a professor, and gave birth to their daughter Anastasia. However, being raised in an intellectual family and receiving a first-class education did not help Vladimir become a worthy member of society. Toma's husband abuses alcohol and sometimes resorts to violence. She lives in constant fear. Their daughter Nastya is performing poorly in school and is at risk of being expelled.
