The American TV series "Red Rainbow" is based on real events. The story takes place in the Soviet Union in the late 70s. Ivan Kapitonov, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, travels to the western part of Berlin to meet with young representatives of activist movements. They impress him with their approval of communist ideas. He decides that the activists should go to the Soviet Union to influence the young members of the Komsomol.
