The series "Deception" is a detective melodrama about a passionate love that withstands the test of time. Anton used to be in a relationship with his beloved Olya, but due to family pressure and the schemes of their rivals, the couple had to part ways. After many years, Anton realizes that he is unhappy. He has only a boring job and an unloved spouse chosen for him by his parents. That's when he decides to rebel and return to Olga, especially since she still loves him. However, not everyone is pleased with this idea.
