The TV series "Out of a Sense of Duty" is a Ukrainian melodrama about the fate of a young girl named Lyudmila. Her grandmother is hospitalized with a serious illness. In order to save her loved one, the heroine must quickly gather an unaffordable sum of money for her family. Lyudmila's fiancé, Valery, is frightened by these difficulties and decides to abandon her in this difficult situation. However, an old family friend, Nikolai Petrovich, comes to the rescue.
