"Boomerang" is a Russian melodramatic mini-series that tells the story of sixteen-year-old Darya Lebedeva, the daughter of a professor. The girl lives in a small academic town, attends school, and plans to continue her education at a choreographic school. Dasha dreams of dedicating her life to ballet. At the same time, the young heroine falls in love for the first time. The object of her affection is an ordinary boy from a low-income family. Lebedeva is determined to marry him and run away to the capital together.
