The Russian detective series "Invite the Ghost into the House" is based on the novel of the same name by Ekaterina Ostrovskaya. The main character is private detective Vera Berezhnaya, familiar to viewers from other stories. One day, a businessman named Volokhov comes to her agency with a strange request. He wants to find a girl he spent the night with. In the morning, he woke up alone and realized he couldn't remember the events of the previous evening. He hopes to get answers from his overnight guest. Soon, someone kills Volokhov's former lover.
