The main character of the drama series "Don't Deceive" is Lyudmila, a middle-aged mother who loses her adult son. Before his death, Vladimir confesses to his mother that he has an illegitimate teenage daughter, to whom he wants to leave all his money. However, he doesn't have time to find the girl, so the responsibility falls on Lyudmila's shoulders. "Don't deceive" were the last words of her son to his mother, so immediately after the funeral, the woman sets off in search of her granddaughter. Along the way, she has to reconsider many things in life.
