The plot of the Russian detective series "Life, Rumor Has It" is based on the eponymous novel by renowned writer Tatiana Ustinova. The story revolves around a man named Gleb Zvonitsky and the daughter of a former regional politician, Katerina. Gleb had no idea what his business trip to St. Petersburg would entail. However, the situation took an unexpected turn after he met Katya. Gleb used to work for her father, who was the governor at the time.
