The series "The Plot" is a story about a writer who struggles with his creative crisis using dishonest methods. Jake is a talented and once successful author, but his muse has long abandoned him. Now he teaches writing at a university, trying to come to terms with his meaningless existence. But his life is turned upside down after meeting one of his students. The young man turns out to be extraordinarily gifted and shares an idea for a novel with Jake. However, he soon dies, and the teacher decides to appropriate his plot.
