The documentary series "Take Out with Lisa Ling" tells the story of Lisa Ling, whose journey began in a Chinese restaurant, as she travels from the Gulf of Louisiana to Little Saigon. She explores numerous dining establishments and meets people who own tens of thousands of Asian restaurants in the United States. The protagonist samples the most popular Asian dishes and sheds light on the influence of Eastern culture on the lives of American citizens.
