Small-Time Traders (2016 - 2018)

The TV series "Night Ferrywomen" tells the story of the challenging fate of five Russian women in the turbulent 90s. The Soviet Union collapses, the lives of ordinary people change, and the country is filled with confusion and a lack of understanding of what to do next. Enterprises are closing down, leaving thousands of people unemployed. Friends Olya, Svetlana, Zoya, Alisa, and Ella take on the responsibility of caring for their husbands and children. With huge checkered bags and bundles, they travel between cities and bring scarce goods to the markets.
