The main character of the Ukrainian melodramatic series "My Beloved Friend" is Masha, a girl from an orphanage. In the shelter, the orphan meets Dima, an older boy, who swears to always protect her. But after he is released from the orphanage, they lose contact. Soon, the girl grows up, becomes a cook, and falls in love with a guy named Oleg. However, it turns out that Dima is Oleg's business partner and friend. It is revealed that the tender feelings between the young people are still alive. Seeing this, Oleg decides to set up Dima.
