"Hometown Saints" is an upcoming American drama series about a famous hockey player who ends his sports career. Billy Riddell leaves professional hockey after an injury, which leaves him feeling lost and unhappy. In search of a new calling, the former athlete returns from the capital to his small hometown. There, he hopes to forget about his failed career and find a new meaning in life. However, the ice doesn't let go of the talented hockey player. Back home, he becomes the coach of a high school girls' team.
