"This is Going to Hurt" is a British comedy-drama series that takes place in the maternity ward of a medical facility. The story revolves around a junior specialist in the department who is forced to work 97 hours a week. After a series of endless days and sleepless nights, the protagonist keeps diaries where he recounts how heart-wrenching moments in the lives of the patients are followed by happy ones, and how often doctors have to make life and death decisions.
