The Russian detective-drama series "Crime and Punishment" is a story that unfolds in the early 90s in the Northern capital of Russia. Almost a century has passed since the publishers released the famous novel by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, yet in St. Petersburg, it seems as if nothing has changed. At the center of the events are Rodion Raskolnikov and Sonya Marmeladova. The characters live in poverty and desperately try to find a way out of their dire situation.
