The Russian dramatic mini-series "Crime and Punishment" offers a fresh perspective on one of the central works of Russian literature. The story unfolds in the Northern capital, but unlike the original text, it is set in the 21st century. At the center of the events are a young man named Rodion Raskolnikov and his sister Dunya. They not only resemble each other physically, but also in character: both characters are passionate and proud individuals who do not yield to any blows of fate.
