The American detective-fantasy mini-series "Billy Summers" is based on the eponymous novel by the "king of horror" Stephen King. The story revolves around a former sniper who has become a professional killer with an impeccable reputation in the criminal world. The protagonist intends to carry out his final assignment and then retire from the business to start a peaceful life. However, the hitman's plans are not destined to come to fruition, at least not within the intended timeframe.
