The TV series "The Girl with the Player" is a Russian-British detective story about family ties. In London, a young girl named Jen, who came to study from Russia, goes missing. Her younger sister Nika remains in their native country. Unable to accept the death of her loved one, Nika decides to find her sister at all costs, no matter where she may be. Several years later, Nika also enrolls in one of the universities in London and follows Jen's trail. The only clue she has is the songs on her sister's old player.
