The Ukrainian drama series "The Case of Drowning Hands" tells the story that unfolds in a small provincial town called Novye Plavni. Life there flows peacefully, and the locals are convinced that nothing terrible will ever happen to them, as any unpleasantness will be resolved by the representatives of the local administration, to whom they have entrusted this right. But when Novye Plavni is threatened with flooding due to prolonged rains, the townspeople realize that they can only rely on themselves.
