The series "Sniper. SMERSH Officer" is a Russian-Belarusian military drama about the brave soldier Egorov, who opposes the fascist commander Lotar von Dibitz. Egorov is a simple Soviet sniper who once managed to stop the advance of an entire enemy battalion with his accurate shooting. Dibitz decides to take revenge on the audacious Russian and captures his fiancée, Evgeniya. Having lost hope of ever seeing her again, Egorov unexpectedly finds his beloved... only now she is spying for the Germans.
