The Ukrainian melodramatic mini-series "Valentine's Day" tells the story of a marital union that seemed exemplary to many. Elena and Vladimir Borisov lived in harmony for many years. He provided for the family while Lena took care of the home and raised their daughter, Polina. The idyll comes to an end when Lena discovers her husband's infidelity. She decides to file for divorce. On Valentine's Day, the heroine meets another man, and this encounter radically changes her life.
