The TV series "Zatsevka" is a detective melodrama about the work of investigators in a small Russian town. After her divorce, the young and charming woman Vera Protasova decides to change her surroundings and leave the capital city. Being a major of justice, she easily finds a position in the provincial investigative committee and finds herself surrounded by colleagues. At first, the tough male team is skeptical of the "Moscow lady." However, their belief in her exceptional professionalism and intuition is quickly established after their first case.
