"Borscht" is a new Russian mini-series in the genre of crime drama. The story takes place in modern times in Rostov-on-Don. Several major criminal groups coexist in the city. The police fruitlessly hunt for criminals among the panel apartment buildings and garage "shells," but the local mafia has influential protectors. As a result, street killings, kidnappings, and shootouts increase. And in the center of the criminal world, a simple housewife unexpectedly finds herself.
