The TV series "Bitter Honey" is a melodrama about a simple rural girl named Asya. She lives in the village of Medovyi with her grandfather and, like all the neighbors, is engaged in beekeeping. One of the local residents, Sergey, falls in love with her, but the heroine does not reciprocate his feelings. Eventually, his advances take a dangerous turn, but a stranger comes to Asya's aid.
