"The Porter" is an American-Canadian drama series set in the 1920s. The plot is based on real events. Canadian and American railway workers join forces to form the world's first black labor union. Love and friendship, trust and betrayal play a significant role in their fight for rights. As most countries recover from World War I, the winds of change are blowing stronger. The black guys from Saint-Antoine and Montreal can already feel it.
